A Straw filled cute Vintage bear which is still in very good condition.The golden/orange mohair has stood the test of time well, with minimal wear. He does not have any moveable joints fixed with his arms continuously held in the air and standing to attention. He has brown and orange glass beady eyes and a machine stitched nose and mouth. A small bear measuring approx 24cms in height. Although I believe this bear was originally a toy due to changes in safety standard he is now being sold as a collectors item and is not a toy.
Sparkly Vintage Diamante Brooch in great condition. Very pretty with oval and round sparkly cut glass stones in a circular shape set in a silver tone metal. The total size of the brooch is approx 4.5cm, It has a sturdy rollover safety clasp and is a classic piece.
A cute vintage Merrythought bear. Established in 1930 Merrythought is one of the oldest and most prestigious of England’s toy manufacturers.This bear measures approx 26cm and is a nice aged condition adding to his appeal. He has orange and black plastic eyes and is made of a golden mohair plush that has started to wear in places. His paws are made from a velvet fabric that also show signs of wear. He has an adorable face with black stitched nose and mouth. He is fully jointed and has his original Merrythought label stitched to his foot. This bear is a collectors item only and should not be used as a toy.
A golden mohair Artist bear by "Only Natural" created by the talented Mary Holden. Mary has now retired and no longer makes Bears. This is a fully jointed bear made from a wonderful rich mohair and is in immaculate condition.He is handmade in a traditional style with a lovely black stitched nose and mouth. With long arms and legs he is dressed smartly in a handmade waistcoat and bow tie. Measuring approx 33cms he is firmly stuffed and beautifully finished making this a really adorable bear for any collector. This bear is a collectors item and is not a toy. The original label remains in the seam saying "Original bear made by "only natural" Mary Holden
